‘Takhti, the World Champion’ releases poster

The official poster for Iranian film ‘Takhti, the World Champion’ has been unveiled.

Directed by Bahram Tavakkoli, the film released the official poster a few days prior to Nowruz public screening.

Shokoofeh Bayati has designed the poster for the film produced by Bahram Tavakkoli.

Tavakkoli’s film had its premiere as a contestant at the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran. The film, in fact, had 11 nominations at the film event and succeeded to win two Crystal Simorghs in two categories which were the Best Cinematography and the Best Set Design.

The biographical film depicts the Iranian world champion’s life from cradle to grave. The project is shot in three phases to show the hero’s childhood, teenagehood and adulthood.

Mahour Alvand, Atila Pesyani, Behnoush Tabatabaee, Hamid-Reza Azarang, Setareh Pesyani, and Siavash Tahmoures are among the cast members of the film.
